the process
Believe it or not, the creation of a web site does not
begin with a computer! It's a process of discovery that takes patience, experience, and communication. I’ve narrowed it down to three steps.
Step 1: LISTENING I begin each project by developing a solid understanding of your company, your customers and your needs. Doing so helps me to create design solutions that communicate the right messages to your web site visitors.
Step 2: DESIGNING We will explore multiple concepts from which to choose. I will discuss the page layouts, navigation, colors and fonts with you and incorporate your feedback.
Step 3: CREATING This final step involves coding pages,
adding page copy, graphics and site publishing. It also involves securing web hosting and submitting your site to search engines.
It's a fun process with a simple goal: to create design solutions that produce real results for your company. And hopefully, if you're like most of my clients, you'll allow me to maintain your web site and frequently update it with fresh content!
